The only real terrorism in the world invariably comes from the US regime or from a US proxy.

Let’s not stoop to the level of Republicans who called AOC “a waitress”. The issue should be his lack of experience, not the jobs he had in the past. He’s only been out of college for a year (BA in politics and law from Univ of Texas) and has little or no experience to qualify him to head anything. He should be doing the same entry level work as any recent graduate. This appointment is just typical Trump incompetence.

AOC was a waitress after attending Boston University where she double-majored in international relations and economics.

Fugate (the chose in the picture) attended UT SA until 2024 with no documented majors. no military experience. no counterterrorism training.

he did work as an intern at the Heritage Foundation until his appointment to this current position.

so tell me, why do you feel the need to draw a relationship between Fugate and AOC when they are obviously no where near related?

The things you mentioned are completely relevant and are what people should be citing about this guy. The fact that he used to pull weeds is as irrelevant as the fact that AOC used to wait tables. I don’t see what’s difficult at all to understand about that, or why people have any issues with this simple truth. It’s not like criticizing an improper criticism of the bad guys supports the bad guys, I’m supporting legitimate criticism vs silly pettiness.

I fully agree, however I took the previous jobs to be as a highlight of the lack of experience rather than mockery for what it’s worth.

Like if the lad had been balls deep in relevant internships or something it would have given more credence.

Certainly no shade here on the jobs he did.

Unilateral appointment to a national security role is way different from a vote to represent a group of people. AOC also had basically no experience outside that of relevant college coursework.

It’s not stopping - it’s calling out the most blatant of nepotistic appointments in our history (not just this one) for exactly the reasons you’re listing above.

I may be hyper focusing on wording a little, but I feel like it’s a pretty huge difference.

I don’t care how different they are, calling out that somebody used to mow lawns or wait tables or pick up dog shit or whatever is always petty and unnecessary. Let’s leave that to MAGA and act like grownups.

As for AOC having “basically no experience outside of relevant college coursework” - she interned in Ted Kennedy’s office on immigration and foreign affairs, worked for a Hispanic-focused nonprofit, started a small publishing business, and worked for Bernie Sanders’ campaign, all while doing second jobs in restaurants. She also spent two years mounting her own House campaign. She was focused on politics and relevant issues through her whole 20s. Borrowing your argumentative tactic, “there’s a pretty huge difference” between her and a recent college grad.

But in both cases calling out their past shit jobs is irrelevant.

Petty and unnecessary is getting mad at people for being rude to members of a fascist regime who are trying to kill us.

Seeing objections to bad behavior as “getting mad” is childish projection, which it seems fewer and fewer people are outgrowing.

          act like grownups.

Problem is there’s a large portion of voters who are not grown ups and are swayed by that shit and if only one side is slinging it only one side gets the non-grownup vote.

I have one very simple question:

    Who … are … his … parents?

Based on his LinkedIn, and what appeared in the story, I’m not sure what sets him apart from thousands of other wannabe MAGA assholes.

Which triggers my spideysense. Well that and the arrogant fucking faces he’s putting out into the interwebs like he’s Don Juan De La Nooch.

My guess is he’s probably a nepo-baby and his folks are either influential or made a ‘donation’ to get him appointed.

    To quote Ocean’s Eleven:

“Never heard of him.” “That’s why I don’t doubt it.”

Now if this guy was some kind of prodigy, that would explain the face. But the stories I’ve seen paint him as your typical dipshit, 20-something MAGAt.

Minus that, there’s a level of entitlement oozing from his face that screams “I think I’m somebody important because my dad/uncle/mom/lover thinks I am.”
