Plain bagel, 2 eggs, 2 slices of American Cheese.
Usually I mix some Kewpee mayo with Franks wing sauce. But I also usually use smoked Gouda or smoked Gruyère… I was out of both, so I grabbed the American slices and skipped condiments. It lacked flavor, however.
What condiments do you add to your breakfast sandwich?
what is behind your bagel there? looks kinda like hash browns but…?
I’m a stupid simple man. gimme two slices of square-ish sourdough, a single egg, fried up in butter, butter the sourdough and pop that in the hot pan after the egg for a lovely crust. make a sandwich outta those three things, add kosher salt and coarse ground pepper and I’m good.
Definitely hot sauce of whatever type we have. I picked up some ghost pepper sauce from a holiday market the other month that is hot but also kind of sweet.
Pesto. Toast the bagel face down in the pan with some olive oil. Fry the egg in the pan next, to your preferred doneness, add salt, slice of cheese. Put pesto on one or both bagel faces, your pref.
Hot sauce. Rn I have Louisiana brand hot sauce bc it was cheap. I happen to like it. I do the same thing but only one slice of cheese. Also what wing sauce do you buy? I like the Nashville hot. My sister will buy buffalo.
I also like Spyce green habanero hot sauce.
Frank’s wing sauce.

So specifically buffalo? Franks Nashville hot wing sauce isn’t that spicy imo. I haven’t really tried any of their other flavors.
I have never seen any of their other wing sauces. I live in a small town with one grocery store and a Walmart, not much of a selection here.
Honestly, for me, less is more. Toasted bagel with eggs scrambled in butter. Maybe a slice of american. Buts that’s all you need.
Sometimes simple is best
Salsa.
Gochujang or Kimchi are my go-tos
Ketchup
everyone who’s writing anything other than ketchup is sick. SICK!!
For me it’s eggs with either bacon or sausage (cut up, so they’re easier to eat in a sandwich), some kind of cheese (lately a havarti with jalapeno), and either just mayo or some bang bang sauce.
Either a sriracha mayo with a bit of a kick, or HP sauce.
A1 steak sauce, or HP brown sauce when the import section at my supermarket has it.
Second for brown sauces, doesn’t get any better.
Picante sauce is my go to. Pairs incredibly well with egg based breakfast foods
Sausage gravy (the creamy white kind, made with the grease left over from cooking the sausage).
Better cheese, mayo and ghost pepper hot sauce
Better than smoked Gouda and Gruyère? Any suggestions?
I meant better than American cheese but I like a strong flavour so my go to asiago and pecorino romano. Absolutely nothing wrong with smoked Gouda and gruyere though.
As I said in the post, I was out of my normal cheeses so i used what I had.
I don’t like wet sandwiches- spicy sausage patty and egg.
